Practice Makes Perfect: Applying Knowledge
Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) Singapore practises communication strategies with the Emergenetics+ App.
Conducted by Ng Choon Seng
he workshop also helped the team realise that each individual is different and that using communication strategies was key to meaningful working relationships. This proved useful for the members of YMCA, as they now use the tool to help better communicate with one another in their everyday work. The team was also introduced to the Emergenetics+ App which allowed the participants to continually practise what they have learnt in their daily work. The app served as a useful tool where they can immediately view their own profiles and read up on communications strategies with their peers based on their thinking and behavioural preferences.
