Enhancing Volunteerism with Emergenetics
People’s Association Youth Movement Central Youth Committee (PAYM CYC) uses Emergenetics to appeal and engage volunteers of all preferences.
Conducted by Lionel Tan & Lin Kaiyang
The leaders of the nine Youth Executive Committees (YEC) were impacted by the many applications Emergenetics offered simply by understanding that everyone had different thinking and behavioural preferences. One of the many applications included the effectiveness of WEboarding framework to goal-setting, publicity design, activity planning and more. This ensured that they were better positioned to engage volunteers of all preferences. They were also able to build cognitively diverse WEteams to improve team dynamics.
“The workshop was great in allowing me to be more aware of the differences …teams as well as how to tap on this diversity.”
