Mindful Leadership Paves Way for Better Public Service
Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery (KMSPKS) gains enhanced communication skills, resulting in increased synergy.
Conducted by Dennis Ng
The management of KMSPKS was impacted from the enhanced communication skills, rapport and trust they gained through understanding one another’s thinking and behavioural preferences. The Emergenetics tool also helped the team to harness the diverse strengths of each leader at work and develop their potential to the fullest. After going through the workshop, the monastery feels that they will be able to serve the members of public better in accordance to the practice of Buddhism of compassion and wisdom, with more meaningful events and activities to be organised to benefit the society and less privileged families. At the same time, KMSPKS is happy that they are now able to form WEteams. By doing so, they feel that the specific task or project assigned can be done more effectively and fulfilled with higher efficiency.
“Through this workshop, I am more mindful of the strengths and blind spots that I have.”
