Energising and Synergising the Team with Emergenetics at Children’s Cancer Foundation

On 16 September 2015, Emergenetics Associate Vytheswaran Ravindran, conducted a workshop on teambuilding for the Children’s Cancer Foundation (CCF) with the aim of bringing greater cooperation between CCF’s staff and counsellors. The organisation wanted to use Emergenetics as a means for its staff members to understand each other better.

After receiving their Emergenetics Profiles and experiencing the application of the seven attributes through a series of activities in the workshop, the team was left feeling energised with a strong sense of bonding. They were impacted by the insightful discovery of each other’s different thinking and behavioural preferences, and realised that the team was truly cognitively diverse.

This allowed them to identify several strategies to communicate with each other. This helped the team gel further together and have more effective conversations and collaborations in the work they do. This in turn will allow them to provide greater support for the children they help.

“The team found it to be very useful…it provided a different perspective and insight into thinking and behavioural profiles… We appreciate you taking the time to spend the day with us to equip, energise and gel the team.”

 – Neo Lay Tin, Executive Director, CCF
